Description

Auson Pine Tar Oil Forest Brown – Natural Protection for Your Wood

Auson Pine Tar Oil Forest Brown is a premium-quality, liquid pine tar oil created using traditional methods and real pine tar. This product deeply impregnates the wood, effectively protecting it from drying, cracking, and the negative effects of moisture.

This pine tar oil is a natural wood preservative containing resins and terpenes, which wood naturally uses to protect against micro-organisms and heal damage. Auson tar is extracted from resin-rich pine trees in a special oven, ensuring the product is highly effective and natural.

Key benefits:

  • Deep Penetration: the product penetrates deep into the wood, providing long-lasting protection from the inside.
  • Weather protection: Effectively protects against water penetration and slows down wood decay.
  • Prevents cracking: Prevents wood from drying out and cracking.
  • Natural Formulation: Based on real pine tar, resins, and terpenes.
  • Aesthetic appearance: Gives the wood a classic, light brown shade.

Note: The product’s strong tar smell diminishes within a few days of application and is barely noticeable after about a month. Once the oil has completely soaked into the wood, the surface can be walked on.

Application:

Auson Pine Tar Oil Forest Brown is ideal for a variety of outdoor wood surfaces where a low-viscosity tar product is required:

  • Building facades
  • Wood terraces and decking
  • Boat docks
  • Garden furniture
  • Other rough wooden outdoor structures

Technical Parameters:

  • Colour: Light brown
  • Density: 1,08 ± 0,03 kg/litre
  • Dry residue: 60%
  • Consumption: 6-10 m²/litre (depending on the type of wood substrate and absorption capacity)
  • Drying time: Several days to several weeks. It depends on weather conditions, the type of wood (planed/unplaned), and the thickness and depth of oil penetration.
  • Dilution: Balsamic turpentine (NB: Do not use white spirit).
  • Cleaning: Clean instruments with balsamic turpentine, denatured alcohol, or soapy water.

Directions for use:

  • For best results, use the product in warm weather (at least +10°C) when it is easier to apply and absorbs better.
  • Stir thoroughly before use.
  • Treat new wood as soon as possible. If it has not been treated for more than four weeks, wash it with a mould remover.
  • Apply with a brush, roller, or sprayer. Wipe off excess oil with a rag soaked in turpentine or denatured alcohol.
  • Ensure good ventilation. For outdoor use.

Important: Do not use on surfaces previously painted with opaque paints.
