Tips for painting

Fading

Premature and/or too quick fading of the paint colour that often takes place on the southern side. The cause of fading may be calcification of the paint layer.

Causes:
Using interior paint for outdoor work;
Low quality paint;
Paint tone that is particularly sensitive to UV light (particularly bright red, blue and yellow tones);
Tinting a paint that is not suitable for tinting.

Solution:
If the cause of fading is calcification of the paint layer, first remove dust from the surface. When repainting, always use a high-quality outdoor paint and a tone that is suited for outdoor work. Some bright tones are not resistant to weather conditions and quickly fade, therefore select the façade tone from a special outdoor paint tone chart.
