Protectant for sauna walls with pearlescent sheen Tikkurila Supi Arctic
If you want to give your wood a pearlescent shine, we recommend treating the surface with Supi Arctic, a water-based coating suitable for surfaces not in direct contact with the skin. A coating that creates a dirt and water-repellent surface in damp indoor environments. It contains anti-mold agents to protect the surface. Wax for sauna surfaces Tikkurila Supi Saunavaha, tintable wax.
Supi Saunavaha is a water-based protectant containing natural wax. When applied thinly on the surface, the protectant penetrates well into the wood, giving it a naturally beautiful and silky finish. The finished product shades are black, white, and grey. More shades can be obtained by tinting the protectant. Supi Saunavaha contains no preservatives or chemical anti-mold additives but is very effective in preventing moisture and dirt from penetrating the wood.

The wax is available in four colors: colorless, which can also be tinted; white, which brings out the lightness of the wood; black, which will fit nicely in so-called “black baths”; and thermo-wood, which will suit the burnt wood often used in sauna wood constructions.
Treating the wooden parts of the sauna with special protectants will make them antibacterial, dirt-resistant, protected against micro-organisms, and easy to maintain.
