1. Remove rust using sandpaper, and polish glossy surfaces until they become matt. Remove the polishing dust with a dust brush and cloth.
2. Prime surfaces with a primer or other suitable anti-corrosion primer.
3. Paint the surfaces once or twice with a furniture paint, diluting it with 10% water if necessary.
4. Clean the tools according to instructions on the label.
