1. Remove resin from knot locations.
2. Treat the knot locations with insulation primer.
3. Fill the holes and damaged locations with putty.
4. Polish the treated locations with sandpaper and remove the polishing dust.
5. Prime the entire surface with primer.
6. Twice cover the surface with a paint finish.
7. Clean the tools according to instructions on the label.
