1. Clean dust and dirt from the surfaces, using a brush. Remove resin from knot locations.
2. Clean mouldy areas with a solution of cleaning agent, according to the instructions on the label. Cover the surfaces that you do not wish to paint. Carefully rinse the surfaces with water and let them dry.
3. Lightly polish the surfaces and any sharp edges with sandpaper. Remove polishing dust with a brush.
4. Prime the surfaces with a wood impregnating agent.
5. Prime nail heads or other corroding metal parts with a suitable anti-corrosion primer.
6. Prime the surface with window paint or finishing paint that is diluted 5% by volume according to the instructions on the label. Putty the window glass with window putty. Leave to dry for at least 2 days.
7. Paint the surface once with window paint. Attention! Also paint the window putty.
8. Clean the tools according to instructions on the label, using water or solvent.
