Paint peeling due to poor paint adhesion.
Causes:
Penetration of humidity through the exterior wall of the room – constructive defects (the probability is greater if oil paints are used);
Insufficient preparation of the surface (dusty surface);
Low quality paint;
Applying the paint on a humid surface;
Occurrence of bubbles in the paint layer.
Solution:
Try to determine and prevent the cause of humidity; Remove the peeled-off paint with a scraper or a wire brush, if necessary, polish the surface. New wood should be impregnated with a wood impregnating agent. Paint the surface using a high-quality outdoor paint.
