• Ensure a minimum temperature of +5°C for both the product, object, and room.
• Optimal conditions are between 15-25°C with a relative atmospheric humidity between 40-80%.
• Sand the wood uniformly and apply the product evenly.
• Please observe working guidelines for safety and application techniques (ARL 013 and ARL 505).

Application Technique:

• Use brushing, rolling, or a cup gun with a spraying nozzle of 1.5mm and a spraying pressure of 3-4 bar.
• Apply 2 coats with an approximate quantity of 40g/m², yielding around 20m² per application.
• Subsequent coating is possible after about 5 hours, and complete drying occurs in approximately 7 days.

Substrate Compatibility:

ADLER Legno-Dura-Öl works wonders on fine-pored and coarsely porous hardwoods and softwoods. However, it’s not suitable for tropical woods like Ipe, Massaranduba, or Bangkirai. The substrate must be dry, clean, capable of holding paint, and free from any separating substances or wood dust.

Wood Moisture:

Hardwoods should have a moisture content of 12% +/- 2%, while softwoods should be at 15% +/- 2%.

Preparation of the Substrate:

For furniture, graduate wood sanding until grit size 220 is recommended. For wood and parquet flooring, sand until grit size 150.

Coating System:

• Apply 1 coat of ADLER Legno-Dura-Öl, followed by intermediate drying (approximately 5 hours).
• Perform a slight smooth sanding with grit size 220-280.
• Finally, apply the finishing coat of ADLER Legno-Dura-Öl.
