Hagmans Målartvätt Tak/Fasad – detergent for exterior surfaces before painting.

Hagmans Målartvätt is a concentrated, effective alkaline cleaner that removes soot deposits, algae, and similar dirt from surfaces.

Applications

• Målartvätt Tak/Fasad is used for surface cleaning, exterior work, and before painting. It is suitable for all types of surfaces in exterior work, such as painted surfaces, metal, stone, Eternit, concrete, and wood. The product does not adversely affect other house structures.

Surface preparation

1. Remove as much moss and other debris as possible from the surface to be cleaned.
2. Cover any plants that the detergent may fall on.

Application

1. Dilute the product with water in a ratio of 1:5 – 1:20, depending on the degree of surface soiling.
2. Apply with a low-pressure sprayer, brush, roller, or sponge, leave on for about 10 minutes. For filthy surfaces, mechanical cleaning is recommended.
3. After treatment, rinse the surface with plenty of water. For best results, wash at 10-30 degrees. Do not treat surfaces that have been heated in the sun or covered with frost.

Additional information

• Wear rubber gloves and goggles when applying and washing the product.
• For additional long-lasting protection against moss and algae growth, apply Hagmans Tak / Fasad Underhållstvätt diluted 1:20 without rinsing. Allow the surface to dry for at least one day before painting.
