KRASO PROJEKT 20 SILVER paint contains active silver

KRASO Projekt 20 Silver, paint is a semi-matt, water-based, washable paint with high abrasion resistance for painting walls and ceilings in wet and dry indoor environments where a particularly durable surface and a high level of hygiene are required. The product contains active silver, which prevents the growth and spread of bacteria on the painted surface.

Suitable for new and pre-painted concrete, plaster, plasterboard, fibreboard, primed metal, fiberglass, and paintable wallpaper surfaces in areas where a particularly durable surface is required.

• For use in kitchens, industrial premises, medical facilities, and food processing facilities, as well as other similar areas subject to heavy loads.
• Resistant to detergents and disinfectants.
• The paint is fast drying and easy to apply, does not spatter when rolled, and produces a semi-matt, smooth surface.

Projekt 20 Silver has significant antibacterial activity. The paint reduces the number of viable bacteria. The antibacterial activity of the painted surface has been tested according to ISO 22196. The bacterial strains used were Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538P and Escherichia coli ATCC 8739 with an exposure time of 24h.
