Renner AF-M466 antibacterial additive

Stops bacteria from contacting wood surfaces

Silver Defense additives AF M466 (solvent-based) are intended to be added, blended, to any topcoat of Renner transparent varnish or tinted paint (except with redox in polyester-based products).

The Silver Defense additive for solvent-based surface coatings AF M466 demonstrates its effectiveness in contacting microorganisms with silver ions on surfaces coated with Renner Italia protection. Moreover, when exposed to silver ions, the bacterial population is reduced by 99.9% within 24 hours, as evidenced by tests performed at CATAS, San Giovanni al Natisone Laboratory, according to the strict standard JIS Z 2801: 2006

1. The additive does not affect the process of application of finishing materials. Only the amount to be added to the varnish or paint, i.e. the solvent base additive AF M466 is added at an average of 2% by weight of the base.

2. it does not in any way affect the chemical, physical, color-stability, thixotropic, hardness or transparency properties of the topcoat product (except for slight variations in glossiness);

3. Easy to apply;

4. they are compatible with any type of product, thus making it usable in any way.
