Renner AY-M433 antibacterial additive

Stops bacteria from contacting wood surfaces

Silver Defense additives AY M433 (water-based) are intended to be added, blended, to any topcoat of Renner transparent lacquer or tinted (except with redox in polyester-based products).

Silver Defense Additive, for waterborne surface coatings AY M433, shows its effectiveness when microorganisms come into contact with silver ions on surfaces covered with Renner Italia protection. Moreover, when exposed to silver ions, the bacterial population is reduced by 99.9% within 24 hours, as evidenced by tests performed at CATAS, San Giovanni al Natisone Laboratory, according to the strict standard JIS Z 2801: 2006

1. The additive does not affect the process of application of the finishing materials, only their amount to be added to the varnish or paint, i.e., the additive AY M433, on average, to 1% of the base weight is added to water based products.

2. it does not in any way affect the chemical, physical, color-stability, thixotropic, hardness or transparency properties of the topcoat product (except for slight variations in glossiness);

3. Easy to apply;

4. they are compatible with any type of product, thus making it usable in any way.
