1. Clean the surfaces with a brush.
2. Remove resin from knot locations.
3. Cover the surfaces that you do not wish to paint.
4. Clean dusty and mouldy surfaces with a cleaning agent solution, according to the instructions on the label.
5. Carefully rinse the surfaces with water and let them dry.
6. Remove the old, peeling layer of paint with a scraper and polish the glossy, strong layer of paint until it becomes matted.
7. Remove polishing dust with a brush.
8. Exchange wood parts that have deteriorated.
9. Prime the surfaces that have been cleaned up to pure wood with a wood impregnating agent.
10. Prime nail heads or other corroding metal parts with a metal primer or other suitable anti-corrosion primer.
11. Paint the surface in 2 layers using finish paint. If necessary, dilute the first layer to 5 % of volume according to the instructions on the label. Apply 1-2 layers of finish paint.
12. Clean the tools according to instructions on the label, using water or solvent.
