Staining wooden windows

1. Clean dust and dirt from the surfaces, using a brush. Remove resin from knot locations.
2. Clean mouldy areas with a solution of cleaning agent, according to the instructions on the label. Cover glass surfaces and surfaces that you do not wish to paint. Carefully rinse the surfaces with water and let them dry.
3. Lightly polish the surfaces and any sharp edges with sandpaper. Remove polishing dust with a brush.
4. Prior to treating with wood stain, prime the surfaces with a wood impregnating agent.
5. Treat the surfaces twice with a wood protective agent.
6. Clean the tools according to instructions on the label, using water or solvent.
