Tips for painting

Calcification

Formation of a fine dust powder on the paint layer due to weather conditions, as a result the surface becomes matted.

Causes:
Low quality paint with a high content of filler and pigment;
Using interior paint for outdoor work.

Solution:
Use water to remove the dust from the surface with a sponge or pressure cleaner. If you wish to use latex paint for the finish, the surface must first be primed with an oil primer. Interior paint is not durable in outdoor conditions since it is not resistant to weather.
